We collect information you provide directly when you create an account, complete your profile, subscribe, contact support, report a profile, or interact with other users. This may include your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, gender, religion, caste, mother tongue, education, profession, family details, partner preferences, horoscope and birth details, photos, horoscope images, chat messages, chat media, support messages, reports, blocks, likes, connection requests, subscription status, and payment/subscription identifiers returned by PayPal. We may also store app settings, privacy settings, notification tokens, profile-view records, read receipts, last-seen status, and account identifiers needed to operate the service.
We use your information to create and secure your account, verify and moderate profiles, calculate horoscope compatibility, recommend and search profiles, manage connection requests, enable accepted matches to communicate, provide support, send service notifications and emails, manage subscription limits, prevent abuse, maintain safety, improve app reliability, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. Profile visibility depends on your connection status, admin-controlled visibility settings, and the privacy settings available in the app. Users who are not connected may see limited profile information and masked identifiers. Once a connection is accepted, the accepted connection may see your real name, profile photo, contact details, horoscope details, gallery photos, and other sensitive profile fields needed to continue the match. Some visibility controls, including name and photo visibility, are managed by admins to protect platform trust and safety.
With your device permission, the app may access the camera for profile photos, chat photos, and QR code scanning. It may access your photo library or file picker when you choose images, horoscope files, or chat attachments, and may save selected images or QR codes to your device. If you enable notifications, we request notification permission and store a Firebase Cloud Messaging token so we can send connection, chat, support, and account notifications.
We use trusted service providers to operate Inaiye. These include Google Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, database storage, file storage, cloud functions, and push notifications; Google Sign-In for authentication; PayPal for paid subscriptions and payment approval; Open-Meteo for city and location search suggestions based on the city text you type, not GPS tracking; DiceBear for generated placeholder avatars; Google Fonts for font delivery where runtime fonts are used; and our email delivery provider for service emails. These providers process data only as needed to provide their services to Inaiye.
The app may process device and app information needed for authentication, security, push notifications, storage, service reliability, and account operation. We do not currently include the Firebase Analytics SDK, and we do not use device data for third-party advertising, ad personalization, cross-app tracking, or selling data.
We use secure authentication, encrypted data transmission, Firebase security rules, server-side privacy filtering, private storage paths, and administrative access controls to protect personal information. No system is completely risk-free, but we design the service to limit exposure of sensitive profile and contact data.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us or using the Delete Account option in the app settings. You can also manage available privacy settings such as connection requests, read receipts, and online status in the app.
Inaiye is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
